Here is the latest Son Heung-min injury update. It will feature necessary information, such as how he is progressing & when his potential Tottenham return date is.

Tottenham Hotspur star player Son Heung-min has been missing from action for the last three matches. He was forced off against Qarabag in Spurs' first Europa League match of the season.

Without a doubt, losing Sonny has been a big blow for Tottenham. They have managed to maintain some level of form, even beating Man United 3-0 at Old Trafford without him.

However, his attacking presence is missed regardless. So, here is the latest Son Heung-min injury update.

What injury does Son Heung-min have?

Son Heung-min is suffering from a hamstring injury. He picked up the hamstring injury during Tottenham's first Europa League match of the season, against Qarabag.

When will Son Heung-min return from injury?

According to a report from Evening Standard, Son Heung-min could be back in action for Tottenham Hotspur after the international break. They have predicted he will be available for the West Ham match, so immediately after the break.

Speaking on Son Heung-min's injury recovery, Ange Postecoglou said: "He’s pushing hard but I just don’t think the turnaround will be quick enough for him to be available [against Brighton] at this stage.”

Who can replace Son Heung-min at Tottenham?

Brennan Johnson has been in scintillating form for Tottenham Hotspur. So, he has been the natural replacement for Son Heung-min during his injury. When Son returns, Ange Postecoglou has a pleasant selection conundrum to decipher.

Of course, the Tottenham attack is fluid. No player is assigned to one position only, with the exception of Dominic Solanke who will certainly play through the centre. Brennan Johnson or Son Heung-min could interchange their positions, so too could Dejan Kulusevski.

Is Son Heung-min available for Fantasy Football?

At this stage, it looks like Son Heung-min is available for fantasy football again. However, fans and fantasy football managers are encouraged to await Ange Postecoglou's comments before the game against West Ham.

The benefit is that Son Heung-min has the entire international break to recover. It is now two weeks until Tottenham face West Ham and during that time, Son Heung-min will not play for South Korea.

Son Heung-min is a great option for fantasy football. He is always dangerous and direct in his play, so essentially guarantees attacking returns over the course of the season.
