Final Thoughts:

The game didn’t end the way it was supposed to, but that’s what happens in sports. It’s never truly over until the clock reaches 90 minutes and stoppage time ends. In short though, to get a point when Leicester City were in great form and Spurs lost one of their key players, that’s pretty impressive.

It’s not a good consolation prize to only earn a draw against Leicester when the game was nearly won, but a positive and optimistic approach is this — Tottenham earned a point, which is better than losing and getting nothing. Spurs may have lost two points, but three games in with only two points, it’ll be more worrying if Tottenham go the first two months without a win.

With that said, here’s hoping that Érik Lamela snaps out of his bad form because Aaron Lennon is practically gone and Andros Townsend picked up a knock. Hopefully Christian Eriksen returns for the game against Everton and that sooner rather than later, Tottenham earns their first win of the season.
