It's a summer of novelty in N17, with Tottenham Hotspur loosening the purse strings after 25 years of Daniel Levy-led frugality.
There's no hassling or harrying, with those running the show solely intent on satisfying a manager whose garnered immense power after keeping the Lilywhites in the Premier League.
An £185m splurge on two midfielders has been derided by many as a laughable overpay, but Spurs know that they'll have to pay premiums this summer off the back of consecutive 17th-place finishes. In no time at all, De Zerbi has deepened his defence and transformed the engine room. Next on the agenda is an overhaul of a frontline that desperately lacked quality for much of last season.
Bournemouth's Eli Junior Kroupi is the primary center-forward target, while Rafael Leão, Antonio Nusa and, of course, Savinho have been listed as potential signings out wide. Some have even speculated whether Tottenham's newfound market ruthlessness could land them Bradley Barcola, who may leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
A Barcola pursuit is surely beyond Spurs, even if there's still a lot of cash spare, and the Lilywhites are instead among the potential suitors for his younger teammate.
Spurs trailing Aston Villa in Ibrahim Mbaye race

PSG do not want to sell Barcola, but they may be more willing to part ways with 18-year-old Ibrahim Mbaye.
The Parisians have always been relatively hasty when it comes to cashing in on academy products, and although the club has embarked on a crucial recruitment shift to emerge as back-to-back Champions League winners, there remains a willingness to shift homegrown stars for the right price.
Mbaye is competing with four outstanding forwards in the French capital, and even though Luis Enrique preserved his best for Europe, the teenager was limited to less than 1,000 minutes of Ligue 1 action and 101 minutes across four Champions League outings.
Enrique explained Mbaye's lack of action during the second half of the season as "simply competition".
Now, the French media is speculating whether the winger could depart Paris in the hope of greater opportunities elsewhere. Foot Mercato's Sébastien Denis writes that Spurs are interested in signing the 18-year-old, but are trailing Aston Villa in the race.
Mbaye, who scored for Senegal at the World Cup and is the country's youngest-ever goalscorer, primarily operates from the right flank but is comfortable off the left. He's physically robust and a speedy ball-carrier, with his upside obvious. In a relatively weak winger market, Mbaye may be a golden market opportunity, if PSG are prepared to sell, of course.
