Just days before the match against West Ham for the Premier League, a negative injury update has emerged for a Tottenham side riddled with injuries.

Tottenham Hotspur are facing another injury setback ahead of their crucial clash against West Ham United, as news emerges regarding the recovery timeline of forward Richarlison.

The Brazilian striker, who has been sidelined since the second match of the season due to a lower leg injury, will not be available for selection just yet, dashing hopes for his quick return.

Initially, there were optimistic signs that Richarlison might be back in training this week, giving him a chance to feature in the matchday squad for the West Ham game.

However, the latest update from Premier Injuries (h/t Spurs Web) suggests that his comeback has been pushed back to November 3rd, coinciding with the Premier League fixture against Aston Villa.

Despite the bad news surrounding Richarlison, there is a glimmer of hope for Tottenham as both Son Heung-Min and Wilson Odobert may be on track to return for the West Ham match.

Son’s injury has been less severe than that of Richarlison, while Odobert was initially expected to be out until the end of October.

Recent reports indicate that both players have a potential return date of October 19th, although it remains to be seen how fit they will be to feature against West Ham.

Richarlison has already missed significant playing time this season, and if he cannot overcome these persistent injury issues soon, Tottenham may be forced to reconsider their options up front. A replacement striker could become a pressing necessity if Richarlison’s fitness does not improve.

In the meantime, Spurs fans will be hoping for positive news regarding the availability of Son and Odobert as they prepare for the challenging fixture against West Ham.
