Tottenham boss has already chosen the majority of the starting XI he will line up against West Ham on Saturday, 19th October, in the Premier League, according to reports.

Following a disappointing defeat to Brighton before the international break, Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is gearing up for a crucial London derby against West Ham this weekend.

Despite the frustration of throwing away a 2-0 lead in the second half, it seems Postecoglou is likely to stick with a core group of players for the upcoming match.

The defeat to Brighton certainly raised some issues, especially with the defence, which struggled to hold onto their lead. With some big decisions on the horizon, Postecoglou will be eager to get back on track and boost his squad's confidence.

According to Rob Guest from football.london, nine key players are expected to form the backbone of the team as Spurs look to return to winning ways.

Among those likely to retain their spots are goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and defenders Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, and Destiny Udogie. Although Udogie faced criticism for his performance against Brighton, it appears Postecoglou will continue to trust his backline.

In midfield, the duo of Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison are almost guaranteed to start, given their recent form. Brennan Johnson is expected to keep his place on the wing, while Dominic Solanke will lead the line in attack.

The main discussions about the starting XI focus on the midfield spots and Son Heung-Min's fitness. Rodrigo Bentancur, who didn't impress against Brighton, is up against Yves Bissouma, who might bring a fresh perspective to the holding role.

If Son is fit to play, he will likely reclaim his spot on the left wing, potentially pushing Timo Werner out of the starting lineup.

The pressure is on as Spurs aim to fix their recent issues and grab an important win against a London rival.
