Spurs put the disappointment of their 1-1 draw at Leicester City behind them with a comfortable win over Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It feels hard not to be able to impress when you score four goals and keep a clean sheet, but which players impressed the most on Saturday afternoon?

Let's take a look!

Which Tottenham players impressed the most in the 4-0 victory over Everton?

Wilson Odobert had a bright debut in a Tottenham jersey, being shown great faith by Ange Postecoglu to name him in the starting line-up. It was encouraging to see a Spurs winger take players on, with fans often lamenting the lack of 1v1 players in the side.

As he so often does, Cristian Romero had a superb performance. The Argentine defender made three clearances, and six tackles, created a big chance, completed 5/7 long balls, and of course capped it off with a goal. It was the defender's sixth goal since the start of last season, in just 35 appearances.

Heung Min-Son looked back to his brilliant best. Despite Ange planning to use him off the left this season, the absence of Dominic Solalnke convinced Ange to move his captain back to the middle.

Although there was a howler from Everton keeper Jordan Pickford for his first goal, it came from intense pressing by Son and he created his own luck. The second goal was a well-taken finish in the near post to round off the win.

As well as the two goals, Son created a big chance, made five ball recoveries, and drew two fouls in a superb performance leading the line.

Micky Van De Ven showed his ridiculous pace for the aforementioned second goal from Son, bursting past half of the Everton side with a sublime combination of ball carrying + speed, before having the composure to pick out Son in space to make it 4-0.

James Maddison was making things tick in the middle of the park, creating two big chances including the assist for Romero's goal. He could have scored himself but was kept out by international team-mate Pickford.

Porro was a consistent threat down the right side, with four accurate long balls, two accurate crosses, a shot off target, two fouls drawn, and a chance created. He also, and perhaps more significantly, looked solid defensively - making an interception, blocking two shots, making three tackles and not being dribbled past once.

Finally, Yves Bissouma scored a brilliant goal, and generally played well, holding it down despite being part of a midfield trio with two attacking players. He completed 5/7 long balls, won 2/3 ground duels, and made a clearance, interception, and two tackles.

Nobody particularly played badly, but those stood out as the best performances of the day. That felt so much better than Monday night.
