Tottenham Hotspur star in EAFC 25 Team of the Week
By Tom Vinall
On Wednesday afternoon, EA Sports released their weekly "team of the week" for the second iteration for the recently released EAFC game, even though the full game does not come out until Friday. Fans with "EA Play" got early access to the game and have been able to play since last Friday.
Heung Min-Son's fantastic all round display against Brentford, where he registered two assists, and created seven chances, which is a Premier League season high for the 24/25 campaign, has been rewarded with a place in this team of the week, alongside stars like Vinicius Junior and Florian Wirtz.
He joins former Spurs defender and teammate of six years Toby Alderweireld in the team, who scored both goals, including a last-minute winner against Luka Vuskovic and Alfie Devine's KVC Westerlo side at the weekend. The Belgian central defender has been given an 83-rated card, a +3 upgrade to his normal card.

Son's card is 88 rated and has 88 pace, 90 shooting, 83 passing, 86 dribbling, 44 defending, and 74 physical. The card has 5* weak foot and 4* skill moves. The card is "left-winger", but can also play as a "left midfielder" and a striker.
James Maddison can probably find himself hard done by, having put in an incredible display against Brentford, with a late goal to cap off the win and individual performance. The midfielder completed 7/11 dribbles, created three chances, won 14 ground duels, made three tackles, drew three fouls, and of course scored a goal. Very unfortunate.
That said, the Spurs number ten has been included in the SofaScore Premier League team of the week, along with his skipper - both players with 8.7 ratings for their performances on Saturday.
Regardless, it was great to see Maddison and Son both play incredibly well and let's hope that there will be more "team of the week" appearances to come for Son, as well as Maddison and the rest of the Spurs side, as that will mean they are producing the goods for Ange Postecoglu and the Spurs fanbase.
