This will prove to be an intense schedule, so the fact the last two games are in January probably does help Spurs a fair bit, however unconventional it might appear to be.

It will certainly be exciting to see how Ange uses his squad and rotates players when Spurs are playing Thursday - Sunday every week. This will particularly be a challenge to Ange and his staff should Spurs continue to progress through the Carabao Cup.

The game against Rangers just before Christmas is set to be a fun one, especially after Ange Postecoglou's humorous comments on heading back to enemy territory.

The likes of Alfie Devine have stayed at the club, despite interest from the Championship in bringing the midfielder on loan, so it will be interesting to see how much part, if any, he plays during this league phase.

Of course, fans are very excited to see youngsters such as Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear in the competition. Fans will remember the excitement of seeing Dane Scarlett feature in the 20/21 Europa League campaign and will be hoping for at least similar, if not more when it comes to Moore and Lankshear.
