This Saturday, Matthew Craig's Barnsley, and Josh Keeley and Jamie Donley's Leyton Orient were in League One action, playing away to Burton Albion and Stockport County respectively.

There was no hangover from the 7-0 midweek hammering against Manchester United at Old Trafford for Barnsley, who recorded a 2-1 victory on the road against Burton. Despite conceding an 88th-minute equaliser, the South Yorkshire side found it within themselves to keep going and score a winner in the 90th minute.

Craig played the 90 minutes, playing in a midfield two as manager Darrell Clarke switched the setup and went with a 343 formation for this game. In a slightly unusual kickoff slot, the game is a 19:45 BST kick-off next Saturday.

This win takes Barnsley up to third in the league, with thirteen points and a +2 goal difference from seven games so far. Next up for the Tykes is their first home game in four outings, as they welcome newly promoted Stockport to Oakwell.

Speaking of the devil, as touched on at the start, that is where Leyton Orient were playing this afternoon. Much like last week, it was a very mixed day for Donley and Keeley. Despite their hosts being heavy favourites, Orient came out with a seriously impressive 4-1 away win, in might what have been the biggest shock scoreline in the entire football league on Saturday. The win has lifted Orient outside of the bottom four and up to twentieth with six points from six games.

The catch is the part that Keeley and Donley played. Keeley was concerningly not included in the matchday squad, whilst Donley had a very brief cameo at the end of the game, being introduced by manager Richie Wellens as a time-wasting sub after 89 minutes.

The games are coming thick and fast for Orient (hopefully for Keeley and Donley too) as Orient host Peterborough United in League One on Tuesday night. Kick-off is 19:45 BST.
