A full slate of League One games were back this weekend, with nine of the 12 scheduled games last weekend being postponed for international call us.

Matthew Craig's Barnsley were one of the six teams to play last weekend, and faced Stevenage today. Jamie Donley and Josh Keeley's Leyton Orient were in action away to Reading. Let's debrief how things went down.

It was a very disappointing day for Craig and Barnsley, who fell to a 3-0 defeat in their trip to Stevenage, despite being on a three game winning streak - whilst their hosts had picked up just one point from their previous four outings in the League.

How Spurs' League One loanees got on this weekend

The on loan Spurs midfielder started the game, once again playing as the lone defensive midfielder in manager Darrell Clarke's 4141 set up. It was far from Craig's best game, struggling in duels and to get a foot on the ball, and he was replaced by Fabio Jalo on the hour mark, straight after Barnsley had conceded two goals in a five minute spell at the start of the second half.

This result leaves Barnsley seventh in the league, but with several teams having a game in hand. Next up for the South Yorkshire outfit is a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night. Kick off is 20:00 BST, 15:00 ET.

Elsewhere, it was a very mixed day for Donley and Keeley at Leyton Orient. The O's picked up their first win and points of any kind of the season, with an impressive 1-0 win away to Reading. However, Keeley was not even included in the matchday squad - and Donley was an unused substitute.

Next up for Orient, and hopefully, Donley and Keeley, is a brief trip to Brentford in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, Kick-off is 19:45 BST, 14:45 ET.
