Fabrizio Romano has published an update on Tottenham's future vision regarding a talented young player.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have plenty to be excited about regarding the future of their club, particularly when it comes to the development of young defender Luka Vuskovic.

Recently, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared some promising updates on the 17-year-old Croatian’s progress during his loan spell at Belgian side KVC Westerlo.

Spurs signed Vuskovic last summer, but the club must wait until next year to bring him to London officially.

After a commendable loan stint in Poland, where he showed glimpses of his potential, Vuskovic has taken his game to another level in Belgium this season. His performances have garnered praise from both Spurs management and fans alike.

In a recent match against Beerschot, Vuskovic turned in a man-of-the-match display, scoring two goals and demonstrating his defensive prowess.

Romano posted about Tottenham's satisfaction with Vuskovic's development, stating:

"Tottenham are very happy with Luka Vuskovic’s development now on loan at Westerlo in Belgium. The 17-year-old defender has scored a brace last night, and he can now count for goals already."

Vuskovic’s statistics from the match are impressive. Along with his two goals, he won nearly all his duels, made seven ball recoveries, and contributed with two clearances and one interception.

However, it is his attacking capabilities that may catch the eye of Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou. Vuskovic registered 12 touches in the opposition box and completed 20 passes into the final third, indicating a willingness to contribute to the team's offensive play.

It will be interesting to see what the next move is for Luka Vuskovic, as while some believe that another loan at an English club, perhaps in the Championship, would be the best option, others consider that a return directly to Tottenham isn't a crazy idea.

More and more, we see young footballers bypassing that previous step and going straight to an elite team, and in some cases, it works out, as has been the case with Real Madrid's Brazilians, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, and more recently, Endrick. What do you think?
