Tottenham could be on alert as Real Madrid are reportedly looking to sign Spurs' £55m-rated ace to replace Dani Carvajal, according to a report.

The recent injury to Real Madrid’s Dani Carvajal has sent shockwaves through both the Spanish national team and Tottenham Hotspur, as speculation grows that the La Liga giants might look to Spurs’ Pedro Porro as a potential replacement.

With Carvajal ruled out due to a serious cruciate ligament injury, which will keep him sidelined for several months, Real Madrid are now on the lookout for reinforcements at right-back.

Pedro Porro has recently been recalled to the Spanish national team after an impressive start to the season with Tottenham.

His form has caught the eye of many, and with Carvajal’s injury leaving a void in both the Spain squad and Real Madrid’s defensive setup, Porro’s name has naturally come up as a viable option for Los Blancos.

Rumours have been swirling that Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on the Spurs defender as they weigh up their options.

According to reports from CaughtOffside, Madrid’s primary target for the right-back position is Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, but should that move prove too difficult or expensive to execute, they see Porro as a strong backup candidate.

It’s understood that an offer in the region of £55 million might be enough to make Tottenham consider parting ways with the Spanish international.

While Spurs would be reluctant to lose a player of Porro’s quality, the financial incentive combined with Porro’s desire to play regularly at the highest level could sway the decision.

Spurs fans are surely thrilled to see Porro’s form earning him recognition and a spot in the Spain squad, with a strong chance of starting in their upcoming fixtures against Denmark and Serbia.

But on the other hand, the thought of losing him to Real Madrid is a genuine concern, especially after his significant impact at the club so far this season.

Manager Ange Postecoglou will no doubt be monitoring the situation closely. Porro’s versatility have made him a key figure in Tottenham’s setup, and losing him at this stage of the season would be a major setback without a doubt.
