We are still waiting for confirmation of Thomas Frank replacing Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur. Daniel Levy's decision to part ways with the Australian coach came weeks after he'd delivered the Lilywhites their first major trophy in 17 years with a famous night in Bilbao.
Brennan Johnson netted the winner in a 1-0 win over Manchester United to end a dismal season on a high. The Welsh winger was one of several players whose form was a concern despite reaching 11 goals in the Premier League.
Spurs need more firepower and have been linked with some of Europe's finest attackers to ensure they have potency next season. But Frank won't get his hands on one of the most experienced and ready-made options on the market.
Fabrizio Romano: Tottenham set to miss out on Leroy Sane

Leroy Sane has been mentioned as a possible target this summer amid the German winger's contract expiring at Bayern Munich. The 29-year-old is Premier League proven, having impressed during a spell at Manchester City before flourishing at the Allianz Arena.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has all but confirmed Sane won't be heading to North London, though. He'll be jetting off to Turkiye and joining Galatasaray:
"Leroy Sane will become Galatasaray player on contract until June 2028, as revealed this morning! Deal almost agreed between parties with formal signature to follow, player’s camp in Istanbul to complete all steps."
Sane could have been a statement signing at the start of the Frank era. He's a world-class player who certainly knows where the goal is, bagging 11 goals in 30 Bundesliga games last season. But he doesn't come cheaply, currently sitting on a purported £244,000 at Bayern.
Tottenham MUST go all out for Antoine Semenyo

Frank's arrival is bound to lead to speculation over Brentford players following him through the door. Bryan Mbeumo would have been an exciting signing but he isn't expected to perform a U-turn over his decision to join Manchester United.
A new winger should be a focus for Levy and the recruitment team and it appears they have Antoine Semenyo on their radar. The Bournemouth star was excellent last season and could perform a similar role as Mbeumo has in Frank's Brentford side.
talkSPORT reports that Tottenham have "held talks" but the Cherries want £70m. Frank has already explained why he'd be a good fit.
Semenyo managed 11 goals and six assists in 37 league games but it's his versatility that could be crucial come next term. The Ghanaian can operate on the right-wing, out on the left and even centrally, using his pace, instinctive movement and clinical finishing abilities effectively.
