Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Tottenham's stance regarding a potential £60 million Premier League star signing, who is also linked with Manchester United.

Tottenham's interest in Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze has resurfaced, with the North London club reportedly keeping a close eye on the talented attacker.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Eze remains a player of significant interest to Spurs, despite a move failing to materialise during the summer transfer window.

Eze, who has consistently impressed for Palace, was linked with both Tottenham and Manchester United earlier this year. However, no concrete offers were made for the 26-year-old, leaving him to continue his fine form at Selhurst Park.

According to Romano, Tottenham's admiration for the versatile forward hasn't waned, and they could face stiff competition from Manchester United if they decide to make a move in the future.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano stated:

"Several clubs are keeping a close eye on Eberechi Eze. We know he’s always been appreciated by Tottenham. "

"Several other clubs have been scouting him, including Manchester United, who are looking to invest in a winger in 2025. Eze is certainly one of the names being monitored, although he’s not the only target."

Eze's release clause, said to be about £60 million, makes him an attractive option for clubs wanting to boost their attack with some creativity and versatility.

Eze can play as both a winger and a central attacking midfielder, which would give Spurs some solid competition for starting spots, especially next to James Maddison.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are also in the market for attacking reinforcements, and Eze's name is reportedly among those being considered.

Man United aren't in a hurry to make a call, but with several clubs keeping an eye on Eze's performances, the battle for his signature could ramp up as we get closer to the summer of 2025.
