How the international break is shaping up

The November international break is upon us, but you already knew that – because Tottenham Hotspur just lost a game. As they did for the October and September international breaks. Oh, and even the one back in March. A really bad habit. Anyway, here is how the international break shapes up for every player.

Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie have been named in the Italy squad, for their forthcoming nations league fixtures against Belgium and France. The game against Belgium is on the road, on Thursday evening, the 14th November at 19:45 GMT, before playing France at home on Sunday, the 17th of November, also at 19:45 GMT.

Pedro Porro has been named in Spain’s squad for games against Denmark and Switzerland in the nations league. They face Denmark on the road on Friday the 15th November, with a 19:45 GMT kick off, before hosting Switzerland on Monday, the 18th of November, at 19:45 GMT.

Cristian Romero is in Argentina’s squad for games against Paraguy and Peru in World Cup qualifying. The game with Paraguay is on the road on Thursday, at 23:30 GMT, whilst the game at home to Peru is on Wednesday, the 20th, at 0:00 GMT.

Radu Dragusin is in Romania’s squad for games against Kosovo and Cyprus in the nations league. Both games are at home, first to Kosovo on Friday night, at 19:45 GMT, before playing Cyprus on Monday night at the same time.

Yves Bissouma is in Mali’s squad for games against Mozambique and Eswatini in AFCON qualifiers. They face Mozambique on the road on Friday, at 16:00 GMT, before playing at home to Eswatini on Monday, at the same time.

Pape Sarr is in Senegal’s squad for games against Burkina Faso and Burundi in AFCON qualifiers. They play Burkina Faso on the road on Thursday, at 19:00 GMT, before playing Burundi at home on the same time on Tuesday, the 19th.

Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Bergvall are in Sweden’s squad for games against Slovakia and Azerbaijan in the nations league. Both games are at home, as they face Slovakia on Saturday night, the 16th of November, at 19:45 GMT, and then Azerbaijan on Tuesday night at the same time.  

Having now served his four game international ban, Rodrigo Bentancur is back in the Uruguay squad for games against Colombia and Brazil in World Cup qualifying. They host Colombia on Saturday, 00:00 GMT, and face Brazil on the road on Wednesday, at 00:45 GMT.

Ben Davies and Brennan Johnson are in Wales’ squad for games against Turkey and Iceland in the nations league. They will face Turkey on the road on Saturday, with a 17:00 GMT kick off, before a home game against Iceland on Tuesday, at 19:45 GMT.

Dominic Solanke is in the England squad for games against Greece and Ireland in the nations league. They will face Greece on the road this Thursday, at 19:45 GMT, before playing Ireland at home on Sunday, at 17:00 GMT.

Heung Min-Son is in the South Korea squad for World Cup qualifiers against Kuwait and Palestine. Both games are on the road, as they face Kuwait on Thursday, and Palestine on Sunday, both at 17:00 GMT.
