Tottenham Hotspur Links is coming in early ahead of today’s north London derby against Arsenal.

Very soon, (30 minutes at the time of publishing) Tottenham will be making the short trip to the Emirates Stadium to face off against an in-form Arsenal side who are currently in second place of the Barclays Premier League table. A win today for the Gunners could potentially help vault them to the top. Likewise, a win for Spurs, who are also riding high, could see them sit behind Manchester United with one point off of fourth place once again. The stakes couldn’t be any higher for both clubs. It’s time for the news.

Victor Osimhen is a 16-year-old Nigerian footballer who has taken the FIFA Under-17 World Cup by storm, scoring nine goals and helping lead Nigeria to the finals against fellow African nation, Mali. Here’s the Daily Mail on what Osimhen would bring to any club looking to sign him.

“The 16-year-old is a tall gangly striker with good technique who can also play wide. He idolises former Chelsea forward Didier Drogba and is eager to follow in his footsteps by becoming a success in the Premier League. Osimhen has scored in each of Nigeria’s six matches at the U17 World Cup, netting a hat-trick against Australia in the group stage.”

It would seem that Arsenal and Manchester City are also interested in Victor Osimhen but are more focused on signing his international teammate and team captain, Kelechi Nwakali. That could leave just enough time for Tottenham to potentially make a move if they have already spoken to Osimhen’s representatives, Ultimate Strikers Academy.

Tottenham have apparently scouted the 26-year-old Laurent Depoitre four times this season after the Belgian striker helped guide K.A.A. Gent to their first ever title in May (2014-15 Belgian Pro League). Unfortunately for Spurs, the £10 million striker isn’t for sale and won’t leave January according to Gent’s sporting director Michel Louwagie: “We have offered Depoitre the highest salary we can afford. Either he signs a new contract or we will put him on sale next summer. A transfer in January is not up for discussion.

This past summer transfer window, Andros Townsend was involved in potential transfers, or it was speculated that he would leave. At the time, Tottenham decided to slap a £13 million price tag (probably higher) on the 24-year-old so that Spurs could get compensated well enough, in order to re-invest the money back into the club.

However, following Townsend’s altercation with Nathan Gardiner which involved a shove, Mauricio Pochettino has dropped him from his matchday selections and sent him to train with the Under-21 team instead.

While Andros Townsend has apologized for his mistake of showing clear frustration at a lack of playing time but not doing it in a more professional manner, the Daily Express — per the Sunday People — are reporting that Tottenham is dropping Townsend’s valuation by £5 million.

“And the Sunday People report that Spurs are willing to listen to offers for the winger. It is claimed Leicester, Swansea and Aston Villa are all interested in signing the England international. Spurs will drop their £13million summer valuation of Townsend to £8m in effort to offload the player. He is said to be keen on getting first-team football in order to force his way into Roy Hodgson’s England squad for Euro 2016.”

If this is truly going to be the end of Andros Townsend’s Spurs career, it couldn’t have ended in a more terrible way than shoving your fitness coach, getting banished to the second team and then sold to clear up a roster spot on the squad. Townsend isn’t a bad player, he has his qualities but he didn’t fit Mauricio Pochettino’s first team setup this season.
