Tottenham has earned 13 points from the first five matches while winning both the August MOTM and POTM awards, but sterner challenges lie ahead for Ange’s side.

Spurs’ late drama in their 2-1 victory over Sheffield last weekend is the cherry on top of an exquisite opening few weeks.

In addition to maintaining their unbeaten run, Ange, with only a few months under his belt as gaffer, won August’s Premier League Manager of the Month award for his incredible start.

Similarly, summer transfer James Maddison won the Player of the Month award for his goal and two assists across the first three games.

Looking ahead, Tottenham return to action on Sunday for a massive North London Derby.
Spurs lost both fixtures against the Gunners last year and look to turn that ominous stat on its head.

Mikel Arteta’s side have also enjoyed a strong start to the season with an identical 13 points across five games, so fans can count on the meeting to be as fierce as ever.

Following this weekend’s matchup, Spurs will host Liverpool on September 30th. Jurgen Klopp’s side also have 13 points and will prove a tough test.

Nevertheless, with the form we’ve seen thus far, supporters have every reason to believe Ange and company will bring their best.

A strong performance from Brennan Johnson in his debut against Sheffield and a possible return in form for Richarlison, evidenced by his late heroics, are positives to be taken into a tough two weeks ahead.

With the entire squad on over a week’s rest, they should be well-rested and keen to put on a show at the Emirates.
