Tottenham look to solve injury woes with Brighton & Hove Albion player
With the January transfer window approaching, Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou may be considering new additions to strengthen his squad.
So far, Spurs' season has been inconsistent. Although they've secured some impressive victories, such as their 4-0 win over Manchester City, there have also been several disappointing results, highlighting the team's lack of consistency.
With the transfer market looming, discussions are already circulating about a potential signing of a young forward to bolster the attacking options.
Tottenham are reportedly considering a move to address their injury issues in attack, particularly following setbacks to players like Wilson Odobert.

One name that's been making the rounds is Evan Ferguson, the young striker from Brighton & Hove Albion.
Despite being regarded as one of the brightest young attacking talents in the Premier League, Ferguson has struggled for regular game time recently.
This lack of minutes has prompted speculation about his future, especially considering the increased competition for a starting spot at Brighton following the arrivals of Joao Pedro and Georginio Rutter.
While Brighton have no immediate intention of selling Ferguson, they are reportedly open to the possibility of loaning him out to another club in January.
This opens the door for several Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, and West Ham, who are all said to be monitoring the situation.
Speaking to The Spurs News, football transfer expert Graeme Bailey has reported that Tottenham is closely monitoring Ferguson’s situation and is keen to keep tabs on his progress, should he make the move elsewhere on loan.
“Spurs will be keeping a close eye on him during his possible loan, they still rate him highly,” Bailey said.
Tottenham hold high regard for Ferguson
For Spurs, a loan deal could provide an ideal opportunity to assess Ferguson's ability and potential before making a permanent move for the player in the future.
However, Brighton has made it clear that they will only consider a loan move if they can secure assurances that Ferguson will receive regular first-team action, especially given his contract at the Amex Stadium runs until 2029.
Given the competition from other top clubs, Spurs will need to act swiftly if they are to secure a deal.
With the transfer window fast approaching, it remains to be seen whether Ferguson will make the switch to North London or whether one of the other Premier League giants will secure his signature.
In any case, the young striker's future could hinge on whether Brighton is willing to let him go on loan and if he can impress enough to secure a permanent transfer down the line.
