Spurs supporters are pointing towards the fact that many of the new signings have not been integrated into the squad yet and that several key players are not at their full fitness. But even the statistics point to a virtual guarantee that Spurs are going to see better days very soon.

Now, you could argue that Spurs have themselves to blame for their poor finishing and do not have a true goal scoring No. 9, so it is not all down to luck.

Basically, regardless of what you want to say about Omar Marmoush, Savio, Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel, Dominic Solanke, and the rest of the Spurs attack, there is simply no way they are that bad at finishing chances that Spurs are going to squander more than a goal per game every game.
Spurs are destined to improve. The statistics show it, and any amount of basic logical reasoning would explain that, too. Tottenham are a young team, a team of new players, a team coming off two miserable seasons, and a team that still technically have a new coach who is really only just beginning to integrate his own tactical ideas after playing a very vanilla version of them while Spurs were busy fighting for Premier League surival at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Tottenham are 100 percent going to convert more of their chances going forward, and so they are going to score goals and win games again.
