It's never 100 percent great news.

Tottenham Hotspur have to be the unluckiest team in the Premier League when it comes to injuries. Dominic Solanke, Dejan Kulusevski, and James Maddison are three key players who are already out of the long term with injuries, and all three are vital to this team's attack. They have been missed badly by manager Thomas Frank, who has still never gotten to work with Kulu or Madders at all.

So Spurs fans were understandably very concerned when striker Randal Kolo Muani, who is already wearing a special fitted mask for his jaw after an injury against Manchester United a few weeks ago, was observed limping around after the 2-0 win against Frank's former employers Brentford during this Premier League weekend.

There were worries that Kolo Muani would not be able to play against Slavia Praha in the Champions League, and while he may still be held out of the match, it appears that it would be more as a precaution rather than his injury being anything serious.

Relief for Randal Kolo Muani

That's because Alasdair Gold of Football.London is reporting that Kolo Muani was spotted at Tottenham training ahead of the game. Meanwhile, Destiny Udogie was not, with Thomas Frank unfortunately confirming that the star left back will, once again, miss a chunk of time this season. This time, Udogie will be out for about a month with a hamstring issue.

The Udogie injury news is a big blow, but the Kolo Muani update of him training is a relief. He had three goal contributions against parent club PSG in a 5-3 Champions League loss, and he has shown the work ethic and skills of a player who will be very, very important to Tottenham Hotspur this season.

But even as the Spurs attack received positive Kolo Muani injury news, not all the news was 100 percent positive. Beyond the injury update to Udogie, right winger Brennan Johnson was also not spotted at the last Tottenham practice session before the Champions League tilt against the Czech side, with Frank telling reporters that Johnson is "touch and go" for the upcoming game.

Honestly, Spurs should not feel the effects of losing Johnson for just one game much, and he has been very poor this season. In fact, he has been massively disappointing, because while Tottenham fans were already well aware of his gaping holes in his game as a winger who does not really play like a winger, even the goals and goal threat have been completely lacking for the poacher. He has not benefited a fraction of what people thought he would under Frank.
