Will we remember Monday, 30 June as the day Tottenham's 2025 summer transfer window got rolling?
While our 'Big Six' rivals have all splurged or at least shown intent to at the start of the summer, Spurs are playing catch-up after spending almost three weeks mulling over Ange Postecoglou's future in the aftermath of the club's Europa League success.
Thomas Frank's appointment was relatively swift after the decision to part ways with Ange was made, but that lengthy period of uncertainty over who would be at the helm for the start of 2025/26 meant there was little chance for progress in the transfer market to be made.
However, there have been signs that Spurs' summer may soon ignite.
Tottenham targeting rare deal with West Ham for Mohammed Kudus

Reports have emerged regarding the club's interest in several Premier League attackers. Bryan Mbeumo, Antoine Semenyo, Eberechi Eze, and Mohammed Kudus have each been linked with Spurs in various transfer rumour mills, and it seems like West Ham's Kudus is currently the number one target.
With Mbeumo preferring Manchester United, Semenyo deemed too expensive and Arsenal entering the race for Eze, Kudus may well be the big-money arrival capable of boosting Frank's attack.
The Telegraph broke the news of Spurs' 'genuine interest' in the Ghanaian international, who joined West Ham from Ajax two summers ago. He lit up East London in year one, but underwhelmed in his second season as the Hammers struggled under both Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter. Supporters didn't take too kindly to Kudus' attitude, with his body language often depicting a player who wasn't particularly fond of his current situation.
While the former Ajax star reportedly has a £85m release clause, The Guardian report that West Ham would be willing to sell for a fee closer to £60m amid PSR pressure and their desire to rebuild under Potter. If they proceed in negotiations with Spurs, we may well be talking about the first direct transfer between the two clubs since 2011.
With Chelsea moving for Brighton's Joao Pedro, Arsenal potentially targeting Eze and Liverpool blowing much of their summer budget on Florian Wirtz, we may have a clear run at Kudus, who's stock certainly isn't as high as it was a year ago.

After recording 14 Premier League goal contributions in his debut season, the Ghanaian notched just eight last time out. However, it's not for final third output that this signing would be an exciting one. Kudus is the masterful dribbler this Tottenham squad is crying out for, and he'd seemingly be an excellent fit for the right-sided role in Frank's attack.
He may hold onto the ball for too long and occasionally frustrate with his decision-making, potentially compromising Frank's "no d***heads" policy, too, but Kudus is an exceptional footballer worthy of performing under the brightest lights. I'd be more than happy with him in N17 (as long as he makes up with Micky Van de Ven!).
