Tottenham Hotspur supporters have often clamored for Harry Kane to return to the club. However, they are now hoping he will be able to stop Arsenal from claiming European glory.

It has been quite a disastrous season to be a Tottenham fan. They have been in a relegation battle whilst bitter rivals Arsenal are top of the Premier League and now into a Champions League final.

The Gunners' opponents in the final on May 30 at the Puskás Aréna are to be decided tonight. Paris Saint-Germain are currently leading Bayern Munich 5-4, but given the drama of the first leg, anything can happen.

If Bayern are to edge past the French side, then it would allow Tottenham legend Harry Kane the chance to get one over Arsenal. Spurs fans are already hoping for this despite Bayern not yet into the final.

One Tottenham supporter wrote on Reddit, "I will always want the best for Sir Harry (knighthood surely coming soon). Just an incredible player and seems like a great man too. Until the win at Villa, his season at Bayern has been the only bright spot in my football world for months and months. Hope he gets a hat -trick in the final against Woolwich."

Could Harry Kane one day return to Tottenham Hotspur?

Tottenham defeated Aston Villa last weekend and are now out of the Premier League's relegation zone, as West Ham United lost to Brentford.

Spurs fans like to taunt Arsenal by calling them 'Woolwich' as that is where the club is originally from before it relocated to North London. Kane even spent time in Arsenal's academy and was even pictured in their kit celebrating their Premier League title win in 2004. Kane was released by Arsenal and went on to come through the ranks at Tottenham.

Kane initially struggled to break into the first team at Tottenham. He had to go on loan to Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City, and Leicester City. He eventually got his chance at Spurs under Tim Sherwood, with Roberto Soldado out of form.

Spurs fans hoped that Kane would spend the rest of his career at Tottenham. However, he wanted to win trophies, which he has now finally done at Bayern Munich, where he has claimed two Bundesliga titles.

Kane is currently contracted to Bayern until 2027, but there has been speculation that he will extend his stay. Spurs fans will hope that he will one day return for Tottenham, but for now, they will be hoping he can break Arsenal hearts in the Champions League final.
