Following the 4-1 victory against West Ham, Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou made a superb claim about Dejan Kulusevski that will surely please Spurs fans.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has expressed his delight at the remarkable development of Dejan Kulusevski this season, hinting that fans have yet to witness the best of the Swedish winger.

Since being moved to a more central number eight role, Kulusevski has shown significant improvement, finally starting to fulfil the promise that has long been anticipated.

In a recent clash against West Ham, Kulusevski was instrumental in Tottenham's commanding 4-1 victory, contributing not only defensively but also in attack.

He opened the scoring for Spurs with a crucial equaliser in the 36th minute, showcasing his ability to influence the game from midfield. Throughout the match, he was a constant threat, with West Ham struggling to contain him.

Postecoglou praised Kulusevski’s relentless work ethic, emphasising how the 24-year-old played a pivotal role in winning the midfield battle.

When asked about the importance of Kulusevski’s physicality in midfield, the Spurs boss remarked, “Yeah, he has been doing that all year. The evolution of Deki as a player is impressive; this is now his role, not just for us but for the national team too.”

Kulusevski’s adaptability and capability to navigate tight spaces were highlighted by Postecoglou, who noted the player’s strength and relentless running. These attributes have made him an integral part of the team’s structure this season.

More excitingly for Tottenham supporters, Postecoglou believes that Kulusevski can further elevate his game, stating that the talented attacker is capable of delivering even more goals and assists than he has managed so far.

“In that final third, I still think we can get more goals out of him, more assists. He’s constantly in those threatening areas, and he’s been outstanding for us all year,” Postecoglou asserted.

The manager also pointed out that Kulusevski had to display a range of skills in the match, including defensive work, which he executed effectively. This versatility adds to the overall strength of the squad as Tottenham aims to build on their successes this season.
