The games are coming thick and fast in England, and on the continent. Once again there are midweek games for Tottenham Hotspur loanees. Let's take a look at who is in action.

First of all, at 17:45 GMT today, Bryan Gil and his Girona side are in Champions League action, as they face an away game against PSV. The Spanish side recorded their first ever win in European competition last time out, and will be hoping for something similar this time.

Girona currently sit 24th in the 'league phase' standings, which is the final play-off spot for the last 16 - where they would play a two legged tie against a fellow play-off side, to decide who gets a spot in the knockout stages.

In the English Football League, there is another round of Championship fixtures this midweek. On Tuesday night, Dane Scarlett and Oxford United are in action at home to Hull City, with several Oxford fans calling for Scarlett to start this game, after his recent form has seen him score three in his last four appearance's for the U's. Kick off is 19:45 GMT.

After their positive start to the season, Oxford are now winless in their last eight league games, with five draws and three defeats. For a newly promoted team, they have certainly not disgraced themselves so far, though disappointingly lost their unbeaten home record on Saturday, with a 2-1 defeat to a Swansea City side that had not scored a goal since September. They currently sit in 19th place, though only two points off Swansea themselves in 12th.

As for tomorrow night, Ashley Phillips and Stoke City are in action away to Blackburn Rovers. Phillips has started the last three games for Stoke, the first time he has done that since joining. He will be particularly hoping to play in this one, having come through the Blackburn academy system all the way into the first team - where he was then signed by Spurs back in 2023. Kick off for that one is also 19:45 BST.

Stoke picked up a big win against Derby County at home last time out, rising them to 16th place in the league - they could have been in the bottom three with a loss. A win here could potentially take them as high as 10th in the current table.

Good luck to all three loanees, and don't get injured.
