Following their interest in Cristian Romero, Real Madrid now want to sign another Tottenham player with a market value of €45 million, according to a report.

Real Madrid have reportedly set their sights on signing one of Tottenham’s key defenders, as the Spanish giants look to bolster their backline.

According to recent reports from The Mirror, Los Blancos are eyeing up a move for Spurs right-back Pedro Porro, valued at around €45 million (Transfermarkt).

Pedro Porro has quickly made a name for himself since joining Tottenham from Sporting CP in January 2023.

His consistent performances both defensively and in attack have caught the attention of several top clubs, with Real Madrid now emerging as the latest suitors for the Spanish full-back.

The interest from Real Madrid comes at a time when they are in need of reinforcements on the right side of their defence.

With Dani Carvajal currently sidelined due to a knee injury, the European champions are actively searching for a reliable replacement, and Porro’s previous experience in La Liga with Girona and Real Valladolid makes him a prime candidate.

Since his arrival in North London, Porro has proven to be a vital part of Ange Postecoglou’s setup, featuring constantly in Tottenham’s starting XI.

Last season, he racked up three goals and seven assists in 35 appearances, earning a reputation as one of the Premier League’s top-performing full-backs.

The 24-year-old’s performances have not gone unnoticed by Real Madrid, and the prospect of returning to Spain could be tempting for Porro, especially with his national team ambitions in mind.

Recently, he expressed pride over the links to the Spanish giants, hinting that a move to the Bernabeu could be on the cards if the right offer comes along.

Despite the growing interest from Madrid, Tottenham are not expected to part with their talented defender easily.

Club chairman Daniel Levy is a tough negotiator, and any potential deal for Porro is likely to come with a hefty price tag.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Real Madrid are also keeping an eye on other options, including Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, who could be a more affordable alternative given his current contract situation.
