Real Madrid are on alert as Manchester City now wants to sign a Tottenham star who has been given a £80 million price tag.
Tottenham Hotspur’s right-back Pedro Porro is creating quite a buzz in the transfer market, with both Manchester City and Real Madrid keen on securing his services.
Following a series of impressive performances in the Premier League, Spurs have reportedly set a hefty £80 million valuation on the 25-year-old Spanish international.
Porro has firmly established himself as one of the league's standout defenders since his arrival at Tottenham, and it's no surprise that top European clubs are taking notice.
Manchester City, in particular, is on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Kyle Walker, who will turn 35 at the end of this season.

City’s interest in Porro isn't entirely new; he initially signed with the club in 2019 but never made a first-team appearance. Instead, he spent time on loan at clubs like Real Valladolid and Sporting CP.
It was during his stint at Sporting that Porro truly blossomed, playing a pivotal role in their success by helping the team clinch both the Primeira Liga and Taca da Liga.
His standout displays caught the eye of Tottenham, who brought him in on loan in January 2023 before making the move permanent for around €40 million last summer.
Given his rapid development, Spurs are understandably keen to keep hold of him, but they know they will face stiff competition from Manchester City.
Real Madrid are also circling, looking for a replacement for Dani Carvajal, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury.
Porro’s previous experience in La Liga with Girona and Real Valladolid makes him an attractive option for the Spanish giants. In fact, it has been reported that Spurs have already begun scouting for potential replacements, anticipating Porro’s departure in the upcoming transfer windows.
The player himself hasn't dismissed a future move to Madrid, hinting at his readiness to play for such a prestigious club. With his contract running until 2028, Tottenham are standing firm on their £80 million valuation, signalling that any interested party will have to meet this significant asking price.
