Two English clubs want to sign failed Tottenham Hotspur prospect

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to have a busy summer transfer window. It is only the second summer window with Ange Postecoglou at the helm and now that the Aussie boss is fully settled in, he has a better idea of the areas in the squad he would most like to strengthen.
Such is the nature of the game, players must leave before new signings are made. This leaves some tough decisions for Ange Postecoglou to make but now he has been with the club for just under a year, he is in a good position to make those calls.
Undoubtedly, some decisions are easier to make than others. After all, Hotspur HQ recently pinpointed six players who could be on the Tottenham chopping board before the summer transfer window. However, one more player could be added to that list and he is somewhat forgotten about, not least by Ange Postecoglou.
Two English clubs want to sign failed Tottenham Hotspur prospect
As per Football Insider, Tottenham's loaned out midfielder Matthew Craig could be on his way out of the club this summer, with two English clubs interested in signing him. As per the report, Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday are expected to lock horns to sign the Tottenham academy graduate in the summer transfer window, after his current loan deal at Doncaster Rovers comes to an end.
Postecoglou can be a cutthroat manager. While he provides equal opportunities to ever player, if they do not take advantage of those opportunities, they will fall further down the pecking order in his estimation.

Craig has not been given a chance to prove himself at Tottenham, having only made one Premier League appearance. However, he is not in the future plans of the Aussie manager, so selling him in the summer transfer window is the best possible situation for all parties involved. There is no point in considering another pointless loan spell.
Craig is a bright player with a good future ahead of him. He has proven that during his impressive loan spell in Doncaster so hopefully, the Tottenham academy graduate makes a name for himself, no matter where he ends up.
