As per MilanLive.it, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in AC Milan forward Noah Okafor.

The Italian publication suggest there is a good chance of a deal happening, and that they expect negotiations to develop between the two clubs in the coming weeks.

The 24-year-old forward joined AC Milan from Austrian Bundesliga side Red Bull Salzburg for a little over £10 million pounds in the summer of July 2023. He scored six goals in six starts in Serie A last season, averaging a goal every 147 minutes of league action.

Okafor has been capped twenty-two times by the Switzerland national team, having made his debut as a teenager. He was included in Murat Yakin's European Championships squad - though did not see the pitch in any of their five games.

The Swiss international is a very versatile player, having played exactly 78 career games as both a left-winger and a striker. He has also played 38 games on the right wing so far.

Spurs are reportedly interested in Noah Okafor from AC Milan

He is an incredibly quick and athletic player, who as mentioned above does give Spurs some versatility. You cannot help but feel that Spurs do maybe need more bonafide quality, however. This feels like a signing you would make instead of Wilson Odobert, not as well as - albeit Okafor does give a central option that Odobert does not.

In addition, whilst Okafor most certainly has his best years ahead of him - at 24 - he is not a young player anymore. He could no doubt improve but being someone incapable of getting any sort of minutes at a tournament for Switzerland at 24 years old does feel like a red flag. If he was the same player, but rather 19 or 20 years old, it would feel more exciting.

The report suggest that Spurs are willing to offer 20 million Euros plus bonuses for Okafor. The clubs have already done business this summer after Milan signed Emerson Royal in the summer. Usually, that would suggest a good relationship between two clubs, but with the time it took to get a deal done, perhaps the opposite if anything.

We shall have to keep a watchful eye on how this one develops.
