So, transfer deadline day could revolve around Tottenham and Real Betis finding a compromise. After all, the situation is clear: Giovani Lo Celso HAS to leave Tottenham, for the sake of all parties.

It is likely that Real Betis are aware of this. They know their former player better than most and it's clear that the bond between Lo Celso and Postecoglou is paper-thin.

Yesterday, the Spanish media was very critical of the role Ange Postecoglou played in Giovani Lo Celso's stance to move away from Tottenham. Essentially, they think that Lo Celso is unhappy with the unmet promises by the Australian manager to grant him more game time last season.

Tottenham are right to make their demands clear. After all, they possess the rights to Lo Celso, so they can demand what they wish. Of course, Daniel Levy never needs any reminding to hardball.
