Speaking ahead of the EFL Cup final at the weekend, where Chelsea lost to Liverpool, Tottenham transfer target Conor Gallagher spoke about his future Chelsea. Despite having just 18 months on his contract, Gallagher spoke about wanting to help the club achieve great things in the future, via Sky Sports.

It remains to be seen whether Gallagher extends his stay at Stamford Bridge, but he is loving the increase in game time under Mauricio Pochettino, who has turned him into a great midfielder and someone to build the team around. Still, Spurs remain interested in signing him.

Tottenham transfer news - Tottenham approach new defender

According to Sport Witness, Tottenham have approached Dean Huijsen who currently plays for Roma, on loan from Juventus. The 18-year-old is one of the hottest talents in Europe currently, as Spurs are set to face competition from Manchester United.

Huijsen is a centre back, so it remains to be seen whether Spurs are seriously interested in strengthening this position.

Tottenham transfer news - Tottenham eye former Aston Villa winger

According to Team Talk, Tottenham are interested in signing Jaden Philogene, the 22-year-old Hull City winger, who formerly played for Aston Villa. Should Aston Villa wish to bring him back for £15m, they are able to do so UNLESS another team offers £20m.

Spurs are on the hunt for a new winger and the versatile option of Philogene may appeal to them.
