Currently, he is running closer to the final year of his deal at Stamford Bridge and it is still up in the air whether he signs a new one or not.

Certainly, Spurs would be in a better place to convince Gallagher in the summer if they qualify for the Champions League. Obtaining Champions League football AND having Ange Postecoglou at the helm are two amazing pull factors. At the moment, Chelsea only have push factors.
