Ange Postecoglou submits offer for Manchester United target
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Tottenham have overtaken Manchester United in the race to sign Fulham standout defender Tosin Adarabioyo. The former Manchester City centre-back runs out of contract at the end of the season and the report states that Tottenham have the edge, having offered Adarabioyo a contract already.
Needless to say, if Tottenham qualify for the Champions League, they will be a more attractive club than Manchester United. As much as Ange Postecoglou claims he wants players to sign for Tottenham instead of for Champions League football, it is an impossible task for players to not be swayed by Champions League experience.
Adarabioyo would be an exceptional young defender and he would definitely be a Postecoglou-type signing.
Djed Spence expected to leave Tottenham
According to Football Insider, Djed Spence is expected to be one of a number of Tottenham stars to leave Tottenham after this season. Spence has been on three different loan spells since 2023 and upon his return, Spurs are willing to listen to offers for him.
Clearly, there is not a place in the future plans for Djed Spence. Therefore, it is better from the player's perspective that he is sold in the summer transfer window, to further his career development. Since signing for Spurs in 2022, he has only made four Premier League appearances and that isn't expected to improve anytime soon.
Tottenham make concrete offer for Mohamed Amoura
It goes without saying that Tottenham must finally begin their quest to replace Harry Kane in the summer transfer window. While Ange Postecoglou has done an adequate job of setting up his attacking setup without an out-and-out goalscorer, this is not sustainable, therefore he needs to sign a striker in the summer.
According to a report by Algerian source DZ Foot, Spurs have made the first concrete offer to sign Mohamed Amoura from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. The centre forward has scored an impressive 22 goals across all competitions this season, hence why he is the man tipped to reignite the goal-scoring form which Tottenham have lacked from a central position since Kane left in 2023.
