Ange Postecoglou could sign Arsenal transfer target
According to a new report by GIVEMESPORT, Tottenham are looking to "test the waters" for Arsenal transfer target Ivan Toney this summer. It is believed that Spurs could launch a £45m bid, potentially taking advantage of the lack of intense interest in Toney since he returned from action.
Arsenal were seriously linked with a move for Ivan Toney, however, their interest seems to have cooled off since Arteta has been assessing other options.
This means that the path could be clear for Tottenham to sign Ivan Toney, which would be an exceptional signing as they would finally replace Harry Kane in the starting eleven.
Tottenham are well-placed to sign Conor Gallagher
It is well-documented that Tottenham are involved in the race to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher. One of Chelsea's best players in yet another horrid season, all the signs point towards Gallagher deserving better.
According to an update by Football Insider, Tottenham are now in a pole position to land Conor Gallagher, since their closest competitors Newcastle United will need to tone down their interest due to FFP issues.
This, combined with the recent revelation that Gallagher would prefer to stay in London, add up nicely for Tottenham to land their dream signing.
Tottenham could use Djed Spence in swap-deal
Tottenham currently have their young English defender Djed Spence on loan in the Serie A, as the 23-year-old has impressed with his temporary contract at Genoa.
That said, Tottenham could use Djed Spence as a makeweight to sign a new striker. It is believed, via Calcio Mercato, that Tottenham are considering offering Djed Spence as part of a swap deal with Genoa striker Albert Gudmundsson going the other way.
