Ange Postecoglou approaches Santiago Gimenez

Perhaps the biggest priority for Tottenham this summer is to sign a new striker. It is a cliche that they have not yet replaced Harry Kane, who departed last summer, but this cliche is true. Currently, they have Richarlison, Timo Werner and Son Heung-Min operating the centre-forward role. None of them are natural centrepiece goal-scorers, so Spurs need a talisman in the summer.

According to a report by Media Tiempo, Tottenham have already approached Santiago Gimenez over a potential transfer to North London this summer. It is believed that while Feyenoord would like to keep Gimenez, they will not turn down the right offer, should Tottenham meet their demands.

Gimenez has amassed an impressive 24 goals across all competitions for Feyenoord this season.

Conor Gallagher does not want to leave London

According to GiveMeSport, Conor Gallagher does not want to leave Chelsea. However, if he has to leave the club due to his contract situation and the club's shortcomings, then a move away from London would not be ideal.

This gives Tottenham, who are obviously London-based, an advantage over other clubs interested in Conor Gallagher, such as Newcastle United. The reason why Gallagher insists on remaining in London is due to not wishing to relocate his family, which is understandable.

Oftentimes, this is an element to transfer talk which is overlooked. After all, it is not just the player who is affected by moving clubs but the families of those players are also affected since they must relocate. Therefore, Gallagher is being mature about the situation and Spurs certainly presents his best opportunity anyway.

Tottenham are interested in Sebastian Szymanski

Tottenham are showing a keen interest in signing Fenerbahce player Sebastian Szymanski, as per Gazete Damga. The Poland international has been a revelation since signing permanently for the Turksish club, totalling a whopping 29 goal contributions across all competitions this season (12 goals, 17 assists).

A playmaker by trade, he could join the excellent creative hub which already exists at Tottenham. With Sebastian Szymanski signed and an out-and-out centre forward, the goals could flurry for Spurs next season in a welcomed boost for Postecoglou.
