Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a move for Inter Milan’s highly-rated forward, Marcus Thuram. The French international has been in scintillating form since joining the Serie A giants and could be set for a switch to North London if Spurs can get a deal over the line.

Thuram, 27, was instrumental in Inter Milan’s title-winning campaign last season, scoring 15 goals and providing 14 assists across all competitions.

His performances have not gone unnoticed, and it’s clear that clubs across Europe are eyeing his signature. With Spurs in need of attacking reinforcements, Thuram could be the ideal solution.

According to reports from Fichajes.net, Tottenham are not the only Premier League side interested in the Frenchman, with Aston Villa also rumoured to be keen on securing his services.

However, Tottenham’s potential advantage could lie in their desire to rebuild under manager Ange Postecoglou, aiming to bring in top-level talent as they strive for success in both domestic and European competitions.

One of the driving factors behind Spurs’ interest in Thuram is the underwhelming form of Richarlison since his move from Everton.

The Brazilian has struggled to make a consistent impact, and the addition of Thuram would undoubtedly provide an upgrade in quality.

Thuram’s attributes make him well-suited to the Premier League. His physicality, speed, and technical ability would help him adapt to English football, where his dynamic style could flourish.

The biggest question remains whether Inter Milan are willing to sell one of their key players. After such a successful season, the Italian club may be reluctant to part ways with Thuram, especially given his vital contributions to their success.

However, if a lucrative offer comes in, both the player and the club may find a Premier League move difficult to resist.
