Tottenham Hotspur have been linked pretty consistently with one player in particular over the last few days, Dominic Solanke. In fact, despite Tottenham being in competition with other clubs, Solanke himself is keen to join Tottenham. Therefore, Ange Postecoglou is in a good position to sign the England international, should Daniel Levy meet Bournemouth's financial demands.

According to a report from Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur signing Dominic Solanke could depend on the outcome of Richarlison receiving interest from the Saudi Pro League. Tottenham are anticipating a big bid from Saudi, which could heighten their position to land Dominic Solanke. It would also free up room in the squad, with Richarlison sometimes playing as the striker.

The decision to sell Richarlison is certainly a polarising one. On the one hand, Richarlison definitely doesn't deserve to be sold, since he had a brilliant first season under Ange Postecoglou. On the other hand, it would be an upgrade on the squad if Dominic Solanke is brought in. Therefore, it will be a difficult decision, which Ange Postecoglou won't take lightly.

Richarlison himself is a pretty polarising figure. Tottenham fans love him but rival fans don't. More often than not, this is the sign that a club has a great player, but it's for those reasons that Tottenham fans are cautious. Richarlison is a passionate player, which can be his detriment at times. When things aren't going his way, he lets it get to him, which can exacerbate Tottenham's bad performances.

However, as mentioned, last season was different. If anything, Richarlison was key to some of the turnaround moments in Tottenham's season. It was his first season under Ange Postecoglou and he was one of the most improved Tottenham players. Therefore, a convincing case has been made that Tottenham mustn't sell Richarlison this summer.

That said, there are some offers which come in that clubs simply cannot refuse. The Saudi Pro League is an emerging league with ambitions of being the best in the world. Therefore, their decision-makers oftentimes stop at nothing to get the best players. Understandably, then, Tottenham are anticipating a big bid from the Saudi Pro League.
