Dominic Solanke keen on joining Tottenham, says pundit
Tottenham Hotspur are still on the lookout for a new striker, and Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke has become a top target.
The North London team is ramping up their search for a goal-scoring forward to replace Harry Kane. Manager Ange Postecoglou really wants a proven scorer, and Solanke is at the top of their list.
Tottenham managed to cope without a direct replacement for Kane last season, with Son Heung-min and Richarlison stepping up in the attacking roles.
While both performed admirably, Postecoglou is looking for a more established striker to lead the line. Solanke, who has enjoyed a resurgence at Bournemouth after a challenging stint at Liverpool, fits the bill perfectly.
The 26-year-old striker had an impressive season last year, netting 21 goals, including 19 in the Premier League. His performances have not only caught the eye of top clubs but have also made him a sought-after talent in the current transfer market.

Dominic Solanke keen on joining Tottenham, says pundit
Solanke's ability to find the back of the net with consistency is exactly what Tottenham needs to bolster their attack and challenge for top honors this season.
Solanke is still under contract with Bournemouth for three more years. The club has set a substantial £65 million release clause for him, with 20% of the sale proceeds going to Liverpool, his former team.
Even so, Solanke is said to be excited about the chance to join Tottenham, viewing it as a big career move. According to Paul O’Keefe from Last Word on Spurs, his eagerness to come to Spurs gives them an edge over other clubs that are also interested.
While Tottenham is keen to secure Solanke's services, they face competition from other teams eyeing the striker. However, Solanke's strong desire to join Tottenham and advance his career with a club that competes at the highest level could sway the decision in Spurs' favor.
