As per publication TBR Football, South Coast outfit Southampton are keen to hold talks with young winger Tyler Dibling over a new contract, with Spurs and other Premier League clubs preparing to plot a move.

They state that scouts from Manchester United, Brighton and Hove Albion, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United all watched Dibling in action last weekend - but Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Brentford also hold an interest, whilst overseas clubs Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Monaco, Marseille and Bayer Leverkusen are also taking note.

Dibling scored his first goal for Southampton in a 1-1 draw with fellow newly promoted side Ipswich Town at the weekend, the game where those scouts were reportedly watching. He thought it was enough to be the winner, but a late Sam Morsy deflected shot meant the shares were spoiled. Still, that goal has helped Southampton finally get off the board and give them their first Premier League point since a 3-3 draw with Arsenal in April of 2023.

The young winger also impressed against Manchester United the week before. He looked bright early on, consistently getting the better of Diogo Dalot, and forcing an early save from Andre Onana. Not long after, he drove past Dalot into the box, where the Portuguese international felt obliged to make a challenge, tripping over the youngster inside the box and conceding a penalty. Unfortunately for Dibling, the subsequent penalty was saved and they would go onto lose the game 3-0.

That game against United was his first-ever league start for Southampton. He had started in the Carabao Cup second round, where he played 89 minutes and provided two assists in a 5-3 away win. Before this season, Dibling had only played eight minutes of league action for the Saints, at home to Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship last season. The 18-year old also scored for England U19 over the recent international break.

This story is certainly one to keep an eye on.
