Amid a relatively quiet transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur has surfaced with renewed interest in midfielder Jacob Ramsey, as reported by both Dan Kilpatrick of the Standard and Alasdair Gold from football.london. Recent reports indicate that Spurs had previously attempted a player-plus-cash deal involving Giovani Lo Celso and £20 million for Ramsey, only to have it rebuffed by Aston Villa.

The interest in Ramsey stems from Spurs' desire to strengthen their midfield with homegrown talent, a strategy aligned with the Premier League's squad registration requirements. Despite Villa's rejection, Tottenham is reportedly considering another approach for the 23-year-old English midfielder, who is seen as a versatile asset capable of playing across midfield positions.
