Tottenham legend Harry Kane has broken an impressive Champions League record with his new club Bayern Munich. He's still got that goal-scoring gift.

Tottenham Hotspur fans were disappointed when the club decided to sell Harry Kane to Bayern Munich last summer. However, the bitterness was never extended to the player himself.

Harry Kane is a Tottenham legend. Through and through, he embodies the club and spent many great years of service providing goals for Tottenham.

No matter where Harry Kane ends up in the future, he will always remain a Tottenham legend. Having broken into the first team in 2009 and staying until 2023, he is the best goal-scorer Tottenham has ever seen.

So, which record did Harry Kane break in the Champions League?

Last night, Harry Kane scored four goals in one match against Dinamo Zagreb. In true Harry Kane fashion, three of those goals were effortlessly slotted home from the penalty spot.

This makes Kane the all-time leading English goal-scorer in Champions League history. Last night, he improved his tally to 33 goals, meaning he surpassed the previous record holder Wayne Rooney.

Since leaving Tottenham in 2023, Harry Kane has scored 53 goals in 50 matches. This means he has scored over a goal per game, which is a very rare achievement in European football.

Despite failing to win a trophy last season, Harry Kane has gone from strength to strength. His move to Bayern Munich came with plenty of controversy as he was on the edge of breaking the Premier League goal-scoring record. However, the decision has prevailed as far as Kane is concerned.

Tottenham Hotspur hope that Dominic Solanke can leave behind even half the legacy at Spurs that Harry Kane did. Solanke has big boots to fill but as a striker with plenty of confidence, he is up for the task.

At this stage, Solanke is still waiting to break the ice with his first Tottenham goal. However, it must be stated that he suffered an injury early into the season, hence why he's struggled to find the back of the net.

Dominic Solanke recently hailed Harry Kane as the best finisher he's ever seen, despite training with the likes of Mohamed Salah and Didier Drogba. Not that Spurs fans needed any reminding, but Kane backed up Solanke's claim last night and indeed the record will stand for some time.
