Tottenham interested in signing Liverpool-linked player
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among a number of Premier League clubs considering a move for Jens Hjerto-Dahl, the highly-rated 18-year-old Norwegian midfielder currently playing for Tromsø.
According to HITC, the young talent has caught the eye of several top clubs, with Tottenham making him a key target as they continue to bolster their squad with promising young players.
This summer, Tottenham has been active in the transfer market, adding several talented youngsters to their roster.
Archie Gray, Yang Min-hyuk, and Wilson Odobert have all recently joined the squad, while Lucas Bergvall, signed in January, has also integrated into Ange Postecoglou’s team.
Adding Hjerto-Dahl would show that Spurs are serious about investing in young talent with a lot of potential.

However, Tottenham is not alone in their pursuit of Hjerto-Dahl. HITC reports that Liverpool, Aston Villa, Everton, and Fulham are also interested in the Tromsø star, with scouts from these clubs having traveled to Norway in recent months to watch the midfielder in action.
Hjerto-Dahl’s impressive performances have drawn significant attention, making him one of the most sought-after young prospects in Europe.
The report also highlights that Hjerto-Dahl’s appeal extends beyond the Premier League, with several European giants keeping close tabs on the player.
Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Stuttgart, Sevilla, Valencia, and Monaco are among the clubs monitoring the teenager’s progress, reflecting the widespread recognition of his potential.
Given that Tottenham have recently opted for a relatively low-cost option in winger Wilson Odobert, there is speculation that they might be prepared to invest more heavily in a top-class midfielder with proven experience in the Premier League.
Nonetheless, there is also a possibility that Spurs could sign Hjerto-Dahl and then loan him out for a season to gain further experience before integrating him into their first team.
