Tottenham return to Premier League action this weekend, with a home game against Crystal Palace. Head coach Ange Postecoglou will want to stamp his authority in this match, as Spurs are in dire need of three points.

They lost unconvincingly against Wolves in the last Premier League game but having had two weeks to recover instead of the usual one week, Spurs should feel confident heading into this one.

Tottenham injury news: HUGE Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro injury boost for Spurs

According to a report from Tottenham Hotspur News, Spurs may be in receipt of a double injury boost ahead of this game. They have picked up a Destiny Udogie AND Pedro Porro injury boost, with both full-backs featuring in a TikTok video, showing them both in training.

Udogie and Porro missed the match against Wolves and Spurs felt their absence in the worst possible way. Emerson Royal and Ben Davies started the match and while they weren't bad defensively, neither of them showed any threat going forward.

This is the area of the pitch where Udogie and Porro shine, so it will be great to have them back in the squad, even if they don't start. Udogie and Porro are excellent attacking full-backs who like to bomb forward and overlap. The tactical system instilled by Ange Postecoglou allows for these overlapping runs, which have been a catalyst of their fine attacking output this season.

It is important to stress that just because Udogie and Porro are back in training, it doesn't mean they are guaranteed to be available for this game, let alone start. However, it is hard not to get excited when two of the club's best players have made progress in their injury recovery.

The two week break would've certainly helped, as it was predicted that Udogie would return in time for this match after their match against Chelsea became postponed.
