It is that time of year when the new EAFC (previously and better known as FIFA) is released, with the game set to come out around this time next month.

With that, several ratings have now been released, including the entire Tottenham Hotspur squad. Let's take a look at some of the ratings.

Heung Min-Son leads the way for Spurs players, retaining his 87 rating from last year.

James Maddison is second, with a +1 rating this year, giving him an 85 rated card.

Romero and Vicario both have 84 rated cards, and Porro comes in at 83 rated to complete the five highest-rated Spurs players.

Werner is the fastest Spurs player on the game with 91 pace, Johnson is second with 89, and Udogie and Van De Ven joint third with 88. Whilst the former three are no doubt very quick, Van De Ven has been a bit shafted there. The Dutch defender was clocked as the fastest player in Premier League history last season.

Son has the highest shooting, with 89. Maddison has the highest passing and dribbling, with 86 for both. Romero has the highest defending, with 85 - and Solanke has the highest physical, coming in at 83.

The slowest Tottenham player is Ben Davies, with 58 pace for the Welsh defender. Bless him.

Gray is Tottenham’s lowest-rated player, and only silver card, with a 73 rating for the midfielder this year. No doubt once EA sees him in Premier League action this year, that will have a big upgrade in 12 months.

Romero can feel aggrieved in general to only be 84 rated, but he can in particular feel hard done by to have 68 pace, 46 shooting, and, most egregiously of all - 59 passing.

Those at EA most definitely didn’t see his goal at Burnley last season to give him 46 shooting. Or his ball playing at the weekend to give him 59 passing. No chance could a player with 68 pace play in an Ange Postecoglu defence either.
