Tottenham are £15m apart from PSG and Arsenal transfer target
Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly at a standstill over the transfer valuation of winger Pedro Neto, with a £15m difference separating the two clubs' assessments.
According to GiveMeSport, there is currently no clarity on whether Pedro Neto will remain at Wolves next season. While Wolves are open to discussing potential bids, they are firm on their £60m valuation for the Portuguese star. This high asking price has deterred many potential buyers. Tottenham Hotspur, described as the most serious suitor at the moment, values Neto at around £45m, creating a significant gap in their valuation.
Arsenal, another club with a long-term interest in Neto, are now focusing on other areas for reinforcement. Paris Saint-Germain has also shown interest in the 24-year-old, but he is not a priority for the French champions. Despite the interest, Wolves have yet to receive any formal offers for Neto. The club is prepared to discuss any serious offer with the player, recognizing his desire to compete in European football.

Tottenham's fifth-place finish in the Premier League last season secured their return to European competition in the Europa League for the 2024/25 season, which could be a significant factor in attracting Neto. However, Wolves are not in a hurry to sell their prized winger, especially not for a price significantly below their valuation.
Tottenham's chairman, Daniel Levy, is known for his shrewd and sometimes last-minute deals. It wouldn't be surprising if he attempts a final bid in the region of £40m-£45m as the transfer window draws to a close. However, given Wolves' firm stance on Neto's value, such a bid might fall short of convincing them to part with their star player.
The fact that Wolves are aware of Neto's ambitions to play in European competitions adds another layer of complexity. If Tottenham can leverage their Europa League participation and possibly offer a structured deal with add-ons, it might bridge the valuation gap. However, with Wolves not desperate to sell, it appears unlikely that a quick resolution will be reached.
