Tottenham Hotspur are evaluating several attacking players in the market, including a Premier League winger, according to Sky Sports. Manager Ange Postecoglou is prioritizing the addition of a versatile forward to bolster his front line for the upcoming season.

Sky Sports reports that Postecoglou, keen to strengthen his attacking options, has made signing a versatile forward a priority this summer. Among the players being considered are Lille’s Jonathan David, currently with the Canadian national team at the Copa America, and Wolves winger Pedro Neto. Additionally, RB Leipzig’s Lois Openda, who had an impressive debut season in the Bundesliga with 28 goals and seven assists, is also on Tottenham's radar.

Despite these assessments, Tottenham have not yet submitted formal offers for any of these players. The need for a new forward is heightened by the departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich last summer, leaving a significant gap in Spurs’ attacking lineup.

The inclusion of Pedro Neto alongside David and Openda is intriguing. While David and Openda are traditional strikers, Neto operates primarily as a winger. This suggests that Tottenham's interest in Neto might be driven by a desire to enhance their options on the flanks rather than to find a direct replacement for Kane. Neto’s versatility and ability to play across the front line could provide Postecoglou with tactical flexibility and depth.

Jonathan David and Lois Openda, on the other hand, offer the goal-scoring prowess needed to fill the void left by Kane. David’s experience in Ligue 1 and Openda’s remarkable debut season in the Bundesliga make them strong candidates for leading Tottenham's attack. Their different styles of play could offer Postecoglou the variety needed to adapt to different match situations and opponents.
