Tottenham Hotspur continued their remarkable Premier League run with a dominant 3-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Spurs looked every bit a team in top form, delivering a commanding performance against a struggling United side, with manager Ange Postecoglou full of praise for his team’s efforts.

Postecoglou was quick to address the impressive nature of the goals and the confidence with which his players took control of the match.

Spurs found themselves ahead after just three minutes, courtesy of an electrifying run from Micky van de Ven, who surged forward from his own half to set up Brennan Johnson for an easy tap-in. This marked Johnson’s fourth goal in four games, a clear sign of his sharp form.

Speaking after the match, Postecoglou expressed his delight with how well his team started:

"Every game, you want to start well, but it doesn’t always happen. Today we managed to get on the front foot early, and that was key. In our last two matches, we conceded early against Brentford and were down to 10 men inside eight minutes, so to start in such a positive way was exactly what we needed."

United’s task became even harder just before half-time when Bruno Fernandes was shown a red card for a reckless challenge, but even before the sending-off, Tottenham had been dominating the match.

Postecoglou's men made their numerical advantage count early in the second half as Dejan Kulusevski latched onto another fine piece of play from Johnson, doubling the lead.

The final blow came when Dominic Solanke netted Spurs’ third goal, benefiting from a well-executed corner routine that led to a simple finish. Solanke’s third goal in as many games added to what has been an excellent start to his Tottenham career.

Reflecting on the result, Postecoglou was particularly pleased with how his side maintained their principles:

"That’s our fourth win in a row, and we’ve won in different ways. But what I’m proud of is that we’ve stayed true to our footballing philosophy throughout. We played some unbelievable football, and you always want them to get the rewards for that."

With key attackers in superb form, Johnson, Solanke, and Kulusevski, Tottenham are looking more dangerous by the day.
