Ange Postecoglou was linked by Jason Burt of the Telegraph to the recently vacant job as England's national team manager.

However, when asked by Sky Sports about the rumors after the friendly victory at Hearts, Ange said: "Mate, I'm at the start of pre-season, I'm the Tottenham manager and I've got nothing else [on my mind] than trying to bring success to this football club, and until I do that there's no point me thinking about anything else. I had a nap this afternoon mate so I've got no idea what's going on."

In the same interview, Ange was asked about international management and said he thoroughly enjoyed his time as Australia manager, despite leaving on a sour note after disagreements with the football federation.

Ange is now the 10th favorite to be the new England manager at 40/1, but we can all be pretty sure, with or without his interview playing it down, that the Spurs manager will be going nowhere and is fully focused on the job at hand. If you asked someone on the street for names they could see taking the England job, you could be there all day before they mention Ange Postecoglou.

As Ange touched on himself, leaving a job unfinished doesn't feel like it's in his character. It would eat at him. He left Australia after winning the 2015 Asian Cup and qualified for two World Cups (although he didn't stay to manage at the latter one). He left Yokomha F. Marinos with a league title. He left Celtic with 5 domestic trophies in just 2 years, including 2 league titles. He only leaves jobs once he has completed his objectives.

Ange also does not strike me as the type to manage a national team that isn't his native Australia or Greece. There is nothing to worry about.
