Spurs have been on the lookout for new defensive signings with confirmed contact regarding the likes of Jean-Clair Todibo and Radu Dragusin. The latter, currently biding his time at Italian club Genoa CFC, appears to be an increasingly likely signing.

As Fabrizio Romano reports, the fee negotiations seem to be the central point of conversation between the two sides.

Tottenham recently received Sergio Reguilon after Manchester United chose to activate the break-clause in his loan contract, and now Spurs could have the option of offloading the player in order to raise funds. The Spaniard is seeking more playing time, and with Destiny Udogie currently holding onto his favored spot at left-back, it seems like it could be in both the player and club's respective interests to sell him.

Links to Dragusin have frequently circulated over the past few months, and in just a few days' time they could finally come to a close, as Farbizio Romano confirms that Spurs are looking to complete a deal this week.

Given the time it may take to see the Todibo deal through, as Romano suggests, it is more likely that Dragusin will make the switch to North London. Either way, supporters will be ecstatic to receive a boost to the squad from either of these players, so highly regarded for their potential and defensive acumen.
