Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com has said that Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna sees Tottenham's Dejan Kulusevski as an option to bolster the Napoli squad, and is sounding out a potential deal.

The Naples outfit appointed former Spurs head coach Antonio Conte this summer, so of course there is a good chance this is being driven by him.

Kulusevski is contracted to Spurs until 2028, however, so Spurs are in no position to sell unless they recieve an offer too good to refuse.

Calcio Napoli reports that Spurs are quoting 45 million Euros if Napoli are to prize the forward out of North London.

They also state that Napoli are hoping the quoted fee will reduce over the coming weeks.

It would be a surprise if Napoli were to spend that fee on Kulusevski, but they could have some cash to spend if Victor Osimhen departs Naples this summer, with several clubs linked.

Conte was of course the manager that brought him to North London in the winter of 2022, alongside fellow then Juventus teammate Rodrigo Bentancur.

Kuluveski, 24, registered 8 goals and 14 big chances created in the Premier League under Ange last season, although struggled for consistency at times.

The Swedish forward is a unique profile. A player who often plays on the wing, yet is more renowned for his strength and hold-up play than his pace and dynamism.

When he first came in, he immediately found good chemistry in attack with Heung Min-Son and Harry Kane. Beyond the first 6 months, he hasn't been quite as consistent, but there is undoubted quality and ability there.

If he was to reunite with Antonio Conte and return to Italy, he would certainly need replacing. Spurs need attacking reinforcements in any case, and even more so if Kulusevski was to depart the club this summer.
