The biggest Premier League fixture this weekend is Man United vs Tottenham. That said, here are the three potential difference-makers for Spurs.

Tottenham come up against Man United this weekend. For Spurs, this fixture couldn't come at a better time as they are finally gathering winning form.

Ange Postecoglou's side has won three of the last three matches across all competitions. Now, Spurs hope to maintain their second win on the bounce in the Premier League.

Despite being the away side, Spurs do have an advantage in this match. Man United fans are growing increasingly frustrated with their inability to bury chances. Therefore, the hosts are low in confidence.

Here are 3 players who could be the difference for Spurs.

1. Guglielmo Vicario

Captaining his side in midweek, Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario was the best player on the pitch. He was commanding, brave and assured between the sticks. This is everything Tottenham could want from their captain.

Vicario kept a clean sheet, despite Tottenham playing with ten men for most of the night. Without a doubt, he will have a harder time against Man United, but he has what it takes.

2. Cristian Romero

Hoping to provide sufficient cover for Vicario will be Argentine defender Cristian Romero. The World Cup and Copa America winner was missing in midweek through suspension, so he will definitely start against Man United.

It is worth noting that Man United look awful in the final third currently. In fact, they have missed the most big chances of any team in Europe's top five leagues. Romero will only hope to add to that torment this weekend.

3. Brennan Johnson

It remains to be seen whether captain Son Heung-min is still injured for the weekend. However, even if he is fit, it would be worth starting Welsh attacker Brennan Johnson.

Johnson is in inspired form, scoring a goal in each of his last three games for Tottenham. So, from Tottenham's perspective, they must strike while the iron's hot and keep his confidence levels high.

Ange Postecoglou is clearly a big fan of Brennan Johnson, as he took the time in midweek to praise him. He also mentioned a key partnership which is brewing between Johnson and Solanke, so that selection could select itself.

Either way, Man United's defensive frailties are widely documented. They are without their summer signing Leny Yoro, so Tottenham must capitalise on this.
